A blue oval, symbolic of the Mediterranean basin, acts as backdrop to Inizjamed's bold and clear namestyle.
Through different weights in the typeface used, subtle reference is made to
the dual make-up of the word Inizjamed being inizja Maltese for
inizjattiva, initiative, and Med, Mediterranean.
The focal point of the design is an orange coloured drop in the belly of the
letter "a" a metaphorical reference to the vital drop quenching the
cultural thirst. This creates a dynamic visual, which graphically embodies
Inizjamed's commitment towards the regeneration of culture and artistic
expression in the Maltese Islands and actively promotes a greater awareness
of the cultures of the Mediterranean.
